09.04.2002: Great Lakes Film Festival

 

Daniel Roew, a 22-year-old producer, writer and director from Wichita, Kansas, is one of the rising young talents in the film industry.  He made his first 16mm short film, "Lost Thoughts," a short black and white film about a man who is literary driven to suicide by his girlfriend. His career took off in 1998 when he moved to California after graduation to attend College at the Chapman University School of Film and Television where he earned a B.F.A. in film production.
